The nights are getting longer and this is the time of year I reach for mending projects that I have set aside for dark evenings. For mending knits I always reach for thicker, blunt ended needles. Blunt tipped needles prevent snagging of delicate knits but also can be used for finishing hand knitted projects, embroidery using canvas and hand loomed projects.

I do carry an assortment of larger darning needles but have just added Tulip's Tapestry needles to the list. The selection includes 6 needles, in 4 different sizes. These needles are a bit thinner than other darning needles that I offer so they are perfect for finer knits or sock darning.

I have started listing some remnants of off-cuts or bolt-ends of discontinued fabrics. Some have already sold (Thank you!) but I hope to have more listed through-out the week.

For those of you that love colorful, Japanese prints the Kimono and Koi "flat stack" is available at a discount for a limited time. PBS Fabrics are digitally printed and have a wonderful hand. They are perfect for quilting but also can be used for accessories. This item also ships free within the USA!

I also want to extend a huge "Thank you!" to all the students that attended my classes last week. I hope that you enjoyed learning about sashiko and will continue practicing.
