Splash Fabric Ecofriendly Food Safe Laminated Cotton - 1 yard cut

Each cut of fabric is 1 yard in length. The entire piece of fabric measures 36 inches long x 58 inches wide (91.4 cm x 147 cm).

This 100% cotton fabric is coated with a non-toxic, water-based polyurethane that is CPSIA-certified BPA and Phthalate-free. The fabric also meets the human-ecological requirements of the Standard 100 by OKEO TEX.

The fabric has a wonderful hand. It is much less stiff than other laminated cottons. The laminated side is smooth, not tacky and has a slight sheen. Also, it has little to no smell. You need to get really, really close to detect any scent at all. The fabric is a light to medium weight.

This fabric is easy to sew and I didn't have any issues with the needle or sewing machine foot sticking to the fabric. I do recommend using clips, instead of pins, when using this fabric.

You can make so many things with this fabric such as:
bibs, aprons, shower caps, table cloths, place mats, chair covers, lunch bags, snack bags and wraps and cosmetic pouches.

Ink - black striped pattern
Denim - blue-gray striped pattern
Alki - yellow and blue gray floral
Juanita - red-violet hued floral
Ravenna - blue-violet hued floral

This fabric is NOT UV resistant so it should not be left outside in the sun. Prolonged direct sun will discolor fabric.

Wipe clean with damp cloth, scrub stains on back side. Machine wash warm okay, hang dry, iron low on back.

Products are biodegradable and packaging is made from recycled materials.
