Silk and wool scarf created with vintage kimono fabric - black and white village scene

This listing is for one scarf.

This scarf would look amazing with jeans and a tee or a more formal outfit. The color and design make it the perfect gift for either a man or woman.

The silk and wool blend fabric used to create this scarf was once part of a kimono. It features a village scene, woven in white, over a black background. The medium weight fabric has a slightly woven texture and subtle sheen. The woven nature and sheen of the fabric makes it appear silver-gray and black. It is a beautiful fabric and pictures do not do it justice.

The reverse side of the scarf was created with black silk noil (raw silk) fabric. The silk is soft and has a wonderful, slubby texture.

This scarf would look very nice with a men's formal coat. It would be equally beautiful for a woman's accessory.

Spot cleaning is recommended as the silk noil can bleed color. Scarf can be ironed on a low heat- steam setting.
