Pink-mauve and white bracelet created with a vintage, silk kumihimo haori tie and leather cording

This listing is for one bracelet.

This bracelet was created out of a vintage haori (Japanese jacket) tie. These ties are called "himo" ties and are created out of silk threads using kumihimo, a Japanese form of braid-making.

The beautiful, woven portion of this bracelet features a himo tie that graduates from a pink-mauve to a white color. Leather cording was placed on either side of the himo giving the bracelet a unique look. The leather cording is a "distressed" pink color and is 2mm in diameter.

The last photo shows the color most accurately on my screen. Crayola brand crayons were placed in the last photo for color comparison. Please note that the white portion of the himo has a slight green colored undertone in some lighting.

The bracelet closes via a metal clasp. This clasp is nickel and lead free and was manufactured in Greece. The clasp has a 2 inch extender chain. The bracelet is available with either an antique silver or antique gold colored clasp. Please choose the clasp color that you wish to receive using the pull down box.

The bracelet has the following dimensions:

The woven portion of the bracelet measures about 4 5/8 inches ( 11.7cm) long and 1/4 inches (.6cm) wide. The entire width of the woven portion and the two leather cords on either side is about 3/8 inches wide (.95cm)

The bracelet has a circumference of about 6 1/8 inches (15.6 cm) to 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) when closed. Please measure your wrist to determine if this bracelet will be a suitable size for you.

This bracelet will arrive in a silver colored box that has a clear lid.
