Vintage shibori kimono fabric silver toned bobby hair pin set

These bobby pins were created using a vintage kimono fabric. The shibori fabric was placed inside a bezel and carefully coated with epoxy. The epoxy will preserve the beautiful fabric and keep it from being exposed to moisture.

There are 4 sets of bobby pins to choose from. Please select the bobby pin set you would like from the pull down box. The fabrics available are described below:

* Plum and pink silk shibori. (photo 4)

*aqua-blue with white and deep red silk shibori (photo 5)

*Indigo blue and white cotton shibori (photo 6)

*steel blue with white and deep blue/black shibori (photo 7)

Epoxy care: Please store bobby pins away from sunlight and do not expose to extreme temperatures. If they are exposed to high temperatures (for example: hot car on sunny day) the epoxy may become tacky. This tackiness should resolve itself after they are allowed to cool. Please remove pins before bathing or swimming. Epoxy surface can be shined and cleaned using a soft cloth and plastic polish (Novus plastic polish is very good) If the surface of the resin becomes soiled, it can be gently washed using a mild dish soap and warm water.
