These earrings were created using a vintage kimono fabric. The silk, which features deep green and white colored shibori, was placed inside a stainless steel earring bezel and carefully coated with epoxy. The epoxy will preserve the beautiful fabric and keep it from being exposed to moisture.
The earrings and posts are created with a stainless steel that is lead and nickel free. The posts are soldered onto the earrings so that they are secure.
14mm outer diameter of bezel
12mm inside diameter of bezel.
Please note that these earrings are created using a vintage fabric. These are the actual earrings available for purchase.
Earrings come in a black box.
The last photo shows the silk without the epoxy coating. Crayola brand crayons are placed in the photo for a color comparison. The silk is a deep green color.

Epoxy care: Please store earrings away from sunlight and do not expose to extreme temperatures. If earrings are exposed to high temperatures (for example: hot car on sunny day) the epoxy may become tacky. This tackiness should resolve itself after the earrings are allowed to cool. Please remove earrings before bathing or swimming. Epoxy surface can be shined and cleaned using a soft cloth and plastic polish (Novus plastic polish is very good) If the surface of the resin becomes soiled, it can be gently washed using a mild dish soap and warm water.
Please note that colors will vary by monitor.
