This thread is 100% premium cotton and made in Japan especially for sashiko but can also be used for sewing, mending, knitting, crocheting, knotting, decorating and boro. This thread is size #22/6. .

Please refer to 5th through 8th photos for the best representation of the color. Crayola brand crayons were placed in each photo for color comparison.
