Beginner Tsumami Zaiku
"Tsumami zaiku" is a Japanese handicraft that utilizes small squares of fabric to create beautiful floral hair ornaments (kanzashi). Maiko (apprentice geisha) are often seen wearing ornate tsumami kanzashi. As part of Main Street Studio's "Charlton Makes!" community art exhibit and workshop series, community members will have an opportunity learn traditional techniques to create a floral hair clip known as a "chirimen fabric tsumami kanzashi".

This is a holiday market and shopping event centering on sustainability and vintage style in gift giving. This event will showcase vendors offering wares perfect for gift giving, wearing and decorating for the season. Presented by The Op Shop.

Cobblestone Creek Charity Guild's annual Holiday Boutique benefits the Victor/Farmington Food Cupboard & other local charities. I will be there with my jewelry, kanzashi and accessories created with vintage fabrics.

Mending workshop at The Op Shop
Registration is required. This FREE Workshop is brought to you by The Op Shop. I will be teaching sashiko stitching and boro-style patching and repair techniques. You should bring your own denim or cotton piece you'd like to mend or work on. There will be practice pieces available. All tools will also be available for purchase so you can continue to master your new skill at home!

Stop in to the grand opening of our latest exhibit, Victoria’s Closet - Fashions of the 1850s as well. Friday, April 12, 6pm-8pm. Saturday, April 13, 2019 10:00am - 4:00pm *I will be selling vintage kimono, haori and vintage accessories at this show.*

Lakeshore MOPS Fall Bazaar and Craft Fair
Come see OVER 50 amazing local artists and vendors display their work in a great atmosphere! Food trucks, live music and family friendly! Raffle auction! (Free raffle ticket for each can good brought for donation to local charity) This is a fundraiser to benefit a local chapter of MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers). MOPS is a national organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders.
